August 16, 2008. New York City did a Proclamation declaring it Babe Ruth Day! I was doing the very thing my grandfather would have loved...I was in the Bronx for the United
Youth Baseball League Inc. I was accepting a plaque for my Grandfather for all his work with the youth. I
was also signing the newest Ray Negron book " The Greatest Story Never Told: The Babe & Jackie".
Alex Rodriguez was on hand as well as the singing group Menudo!

On June 7, 2008 Linda Ruth Tosetti was in Baltimore, Maryland to dedicate
a gravestone to her great grandmother Catherine Ruth, Babe's mother, Through the effort of noted Baltimore attorney and
Babe Ruth historian Paul Harris, Catherine's gravestone commemorating her life was finally made a reality.
